Jesus asks a question in Luke 6:46 that had to sting and still does.
“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord’ and not do what I tell you.”
We as Christians profess with our mouths that Jesus is our Lord but often live like he doesn’t exist. Why is that? Is it Cultural? Is it Fear? Is it Pride? What can we do to change that and help others change that as well? I think this is probably the biggest barrier for Christianity in our American context.

I think you are right. This is a great question for all of us to really think about.
Someone asked me yesterday … how can you love the Lord and profess to be a Christian yet still harbor anger about the past from long ago? Another great question. Amazingly enough God loves us even though we are weak and often fail at doing what he wishes for us.
We should all pray for each other to be strong in our faith and obey our Father’s laws.
